Corporate Profile
The business initially operated as a single proprietorship under PA Alvarez Realty when it opened St. Joseph Village 1, the first subdivision project in San Pedro, Laguna. On August 26, 1994, the business was organized into a corporation as PA ALVAREZ PROPERTIES AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, comprising of 9 incorporators all members of the Alvarez family, under the strong leadership of MR. ROMARICO “BING” ALVAREZ, the President.
The company since then, continued to develop St. Joseph Villages in different locations in Laguna. To date, there are already 6 St. Joseph Villages fully developed, 3 on-going and another project which is called Laguna Buenavista Executive Homes.
In line with its vision and mission, the company for the last 11 years had continuously contributed to the housing needs of every Filipino, and provides every buyer a decent home. Moving forward along with its vision and mission, it is committed to explore more and better opportunities to sustain its operation to develop more strategic property sites not only in Laguna but also in other areas that are proximate to the working places of the buyers. Complementary to this, it is also committed to design more functional houses and formulate better pricing packages, thereby serve the public for its housing needs at affordable payment schemes. It has also developed friendly relationships with various banks and other financial institutions despite financial difficulties in the past because of its prudence in financial management to sustain operations and maintain manageable cash flows. With this, its was able to forge better financing facilities and established more funding mechanisms available for the buyers at better interest rates and easy payment plans.
The company does not only explore better opportunities for the benefit of its buyers, but its outlook is likewise gleaned toward creating a more professionalized corporate environment for its people. It s Management has always been concerned on the professional development and welfare of its employees and workers alike including its sales force. The Projects
Naming its initial project after the Alvarez family patron saint, St. Joseph the Worker. Bing Alvarez converted a family-owned 2.3-hectare farmland into a commercial subdivision, the St. Joseph Village 1, In 1994 located in Barangay San Vicente, San Pedro, Laguna. It featured a fine selection of over 200 housing units that were successfully sold-out In less than 4 months!
Motivated by this achievement and the continuing support of the banking sector, P.A, Alvarez Properties and Development Corporation completed immediately, and in succession, 4 projects until 1997 - St. Joseph Villages 2 to 5. These achievements established over 2,000 housing units in the various areas in the province of Laguna--from Sto. Tomas, Man. to Mamatid and Butong, Cabuyao. PA. Alvarez Properties and Development Corporation built communities that flourished with wide spacious roads; characteristic community areas distinctive construction standards, and elegant architectural designs. With its vigour and business acumen, the company would, again, sell these homes per project in less than 4 months!
Crowning its laurels and founded on its business ethic, P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corp. unveiled in October 1997 the St. Joseph Village 6 in Butong, Cabuyao, Laguna with 'a little less than 2,000 housing units. It has been, truly, the most ambitious and grandest of all their endeavours. A true witness to their commitment to the Industry and to the Filipino community!
The Organization
From its birth, P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corp, has claimed a growth in personnel from just 3 full-time employees in 1994 to 35 in 2001.
